Find the right physicians.
Build the right partnerships.

Pick a state, drop in a ZIP for a 20-mile radius, pick a specialty. The tool pulls every matching doctor from the NPI Registry, then Claude reads each practice's website and scores it hot, warm, or cold for chronic-pain referrals. Every result auto-saves to your Leads tab so nothing slips through.

The workflow

  1. Search. Pick a state and ZIP, choose a specialty. The tool pulls matching independent primary-care physicians from the official NPI Registry.
  2. Enrichment runs automatically. Google Places gives each practice a rating, reviews, hours, and a website. Claude reads each practice's website and writes a short summary plus a hot / warm / cold fit score.
  3. Every result saves to the Leads tab. Find them under the Leads tab, grouped by ZIP. Filter chips let you focus on Hot, Warm, or Cold.
  4. Work each lead. Click a card to open the detail panel, add a note, mark a follow-up date, change the status, or download a personalized intro letter from Dr. Stynowick.
  5. Ask Claude in the top-right whenever you want a second opinion on a lead, help drafting outreach copy, or a refresher on the 5-step program.

The 5-step outreach program

  1. Mailed intro letter — one-page letter from Greg, personalized using language from their own website. Generate the PDF from the lead card.
  2. Practice-manager call — 7-10 days after the letter mails. Confirm receipt, offer to drop off the welcome kit.
  3. Coffee or lunch with Greg — 20-30 minute in-person meeting.
  4. First-referral thank-you — within 48 hours of their first patient referral.
  5. Quarterly check-in — light touch every 90 days to keep the relationship warm.

What the badges mean

  • HOT Score 50+. Close to RPM, independent, well-reviewed, demographic overlap with chronic pain. Mail the intro letter today.
  • WARM Score 25-49. Worth pursuing. Batch these into your weekly outreach wave.
  • COLD Score 0-24 or a disqualifier hit (closed practice, > 75 mi, health-system employed). Usually archive unless you have personal context.

Search

Fill out what you know, leave what you don't. Every field has a one-line hint underneath. Default settings work well for the St. Louis area.

Where to search
Where the doctor's practice is located. Missouri is the default because the practice sits in Florissant; Illinois is right next on the list because the bi-state St. Louis MSA crosses the river.
When you enter a full 5-digit ZIP, the search returns only practices within the chosen radius of that ZIP, sorted closest first — that's where the best referral relationships live. A 3-digit prefix like "631" does a wider prefix match (no radius applied). Leave blank to search the whole state. Tip: click the field to see recent ZIPs you've used.
Only used when a full 5-digit ZIP is filled in above. Wider radius = more candidates but more drive time for Greg if he ever takes a meeting. 20 mi covers most of the St. Louis MSA.

Chronic-pain specialists
Pick one or many. Primary care (Family / Internal / Geriatric / Hospice) sends highest-fit referrals. Chronic-pain specialists (PM&R, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Rheumatology) already see the same patient profile every day and refer non-surgical or conservative cases.
"Broad" hides practices whose names match big health systems (BJC, Mercy, Northwestern, etc.) and keeps everything else. "Narrow" only keeps Direct Primary Care and membership-based practices. "All" turns the filter off so you can audit the raw list.
Optional narrowing (leave blank to skip)
Match a specific city name. Combine with state to disambiguate when needed (Springfield exists in many states).
Look up a specific doctor by first name (or part of one). Useful when Cara is given a referral name and needs to find that exact provider.
Look up a specific doctor by last name. Combine with first name when the surname is common.
How many to show
How many providers to return in one search. Defaults to 20; you can type or step the arrows up to 50. Smaller batches keep each scan quick; widen out for deeper list-building.
